Two local AmeriCorps VISTAs, MaKenna Thomas and Chelsea Fagan, recently graduated from South Arkansas University with Bachelors of Arts in Public Health. Both Thomas and Fagan volunteer full-time as AmeriCorps VISTAS at SHARE Foundation.
EL DORADO, Ark. (KTVE/KARD) — A mother and wife in El Dorado has been battling stage 4 breast cancer for 5 years and she’s sharing her story during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
“My first thoughts were how could this be happening,” Kerry Murphree remembered when she first received the diagnosis from doctors. “But I’m here 5 years later.”
HealthWorks Fitness Center’s Boomtown 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk fundraiser is going virtual! The dates for this new event will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 15th, and run through Wednesday, Sept. 30th, 2020.
