Summer Scholarships Available

SHARE Foundation is now accepting applications for Summer 2026 scholarship consideration. The online application deadline is March 15, 2026.

Funded entirely through generous donations, SHARE Foundation Scholarships help students pursue education and training in healthcare and mental health career pathways that strengthen the local workforce. Applications are reviewed by a scholarship committee, and financial need is considered as part of the process. Award amounts depend on available funding and tuition rates.

In addition to meeting eligibility guidelines, recipients accept a service commitment designed to keep talent in our community. Scholarship recipients are required to work in Union County after graduation. The requirement is one year of work in Union County for each year funded, and if only one semester is funded, the requirement is a minimum of one year. Students who do not meet the work commitment may be required to repay scholarship funds.

Scholarships available through SHARE Foundation include the SARH Auxiliary Helen Wright Memorial Scholarship, Dr. Warren S. & Wilma “Billie” Riley Scholarship, Lucy A. Ring Memorial Scholarship, Barton Scholarship, and the John R. Williamson, M.D. Memorial Scholarship.

Applicants should plan ahead to ensure all required materials are submitted by the deadline, including a current transcript and letter of acceptance to the program of study.
